Caring for physical needs is part of how we show love in Malawi — helping communities grow food and build income so families can move toward sustainability. Our Micro Business Program began in late 2024 and provides interest-free loans so people can start and grow small businesses — 1,200 loans so far, with a 100% payback rate. Our Irrigation Project, made possible by Grace Community Church, means we now have an irrigation system that can grow three maize crops a year instead of one, with a harvest large enough to reach thousands. These programs are practical steps toward healthier communities and greater personal sustainability.

Micro Business Loans

The Micro Business Program began in late 2024 and is managed by Sellah. Before receiving an interest-free loan, applicants complete a four-part training program, write a business proposal, and join an eight-to-ten person accountability group. To date we have issued 1,200 interest-free loans with a 100% payback rate. This is of the Lord. These loans do more than start businesses. They give fathers dignity as they provide for their homes, and they help support local churches as well.

Thanks to the generosity of Grace Community Church, we now have an irrigation system that makes three maize crops a year possible instead of one. Without it, there is not enough rain for more than a single crop. The impact reaches pastors, churches, and families, and will feed thousands of people.
